Save the date: Join Point Molate Alliance for Cal Academy’s 2025 City Nature Challenge! This is a fun-filled exploration of the flora and fauna that lives at Point Molate Beach Park! Get ready to have tons of fun observing, photographing and uploading your observations to the Point Molate iNaturalist page. Your observations will automatically be added to Cal Academy’s San Francisco Bay Area City Nature Challenge project.
A bioblitz is an event that focuses on finding and identifying as many species as possible in a specific area over a short period. If this will be your first time, it is easy to participate. Point Molate Alliance volunteers will walk everyone through the process of downloading the app and making observations at the start of the event
