The Richmond Youth Leadership Program will be held Monday through Thursday, 1-5 PM, at Point Molate Beach Park. The program will connect 25 West Contra Costa County youth, ages 15-20, to their San Francisco Bay estuary and the ocean beyond through a youth driven coastal education program. Point Molate offers a unique opportunity for local young people, who may not have encountered a nearby park with intact ecosystems before. Activities at Point Molate have the potential to demonstrate the complex biological systems that keep our planet in balance.
